Power & Light District: Kickoff bash celebrates Power & Light

The streets in downtown Kansas City will fill up for the long-awaited opening of the Power & Light District.

The celebration begins Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m. on 14th and Grand. Planned festivities include fireworks and a concert by artist Pat McGee.

Organizers hope this will be just the beginning of a busy spring and summer for downtown.
