Free Events March 13-16 Downtown

Free events in Downtown KC will be open to the public March 13-16.

The Kansas City Power & Light District Basketball Fan Fest, presented by Central States Beverage Company, kicks off Thursday, March 13 with free concerts, interactive games, activities, pep rallies, prizes and more. It runs thru Sunday, March 16. All events are free and open to the public.

Morning Fire At Sprint Center Doesn't Slow Down Big 12 Preps

Things will heat up at the Sprint Center with the Big 12 men's tournament hitting town.  Tuesday morning, it literally heated up at the downtown arena.  A Sprint Center spokesperson said an early morning fire will not affect the Big 12 Championship.

In the meantime, Sprint Center officials are urging Big 12 fans to take the shuttle to the Sprint Center since parking could be a problem during the games.
